VALU Kiosk: recognition frontline workers actually see

A wall-mounted display board, a shared touchscreen kiosk, or an embed inside your existing intranet — three ways to bring the recognition feed into the spaces where your deskless and shift-based teams actually work. No personal device required.

Recognition in Shared Spaces

V.A.L.U Kiosk brings appreciation out of inboxes and into the spaces where your team gathers—break rooms, reception areas, factory floors, and communal hubs.

Whether it's a large display showcasing the recognition feed or an interactive touchscreen where employees can engage directly, the kiosk makes recognition a visible, shared experience that strengthens culture and connection.

Perfect for organisations with frontline workers, deskless teams, or anyone who benefits from communal recognition visibility.

Three ways to bring the feed into a shared space

The same recognition feed, three different surfaces — pick the one that fits where your team actually gathers.

Display Board

Wall-mounted, ambient, always on

Mount any modern screen on a wall, configure it once, and leave it running. The recognition feed auto-scrolls in passive display mode — reception walls, factory floors, break rooms, store back-of-house. Visible to everyone walking past, no interaction needed.

Interactive Kiosk

Shared touchscreen for deskless teams

A touchscreen device employees can tap to sign in, browse activity and send recognition themselves. Perfect for shop floors, warehouses, and break rooms where staff don’t have a personal device. Sessions auto-secure after inactivity.

Intranet Embed

Recognition where your intranet already lives

Embed the live recognition feed into your existing intranet, SharePoint or portal. Culture sits next to operational news, not on a separate screen — with no extra context switch for desk-based employees.

Key Benefits

Makes Recognition Visible

Transform private recognition into public celebration. Display appreciation on large screens where everyone can see it, reinforcing positive behaviours and creating shared moments of pride.

Interactive & Accessible

Perfect for employees without personal devices. Interactive touchscreen kiosks on the shop floor or in break rooms let everyone browse activity and send recognition with a few taps.

Reinforces Culture

Seeing who's being recognised and why creates a shared understanding of team values. The more people see it, the more recognition becomes part of everyday culture.

How It Works

1

Display Mode

Mount screens in communal areas or embed on your intranet. The recognition feed automatically scrolls, showcasing team appreciation for everyone to see.

2

Interactive Kiosk

Enable touchscreen interaction where employees can log in, browse activity, and send recognition—perfect for shared devices on the shop floor or break rooms.

3

Auto-Secure Sessions

Kiosk sessions automatically log out after inactivity, ensuring security on shared devices while keeping the experience simple.

4

Always Evolving

We're continuously adding features to make recognition more accessible and visible across your entire workforce.

Where the Kiosk earns its keep

Frontline & deskless workforces

Manufacturing floors, warehouses, retail back-of-house, hospitality kitchens, hospital wards. Staff who don’t sit at a personal computer all day still see and participate in recognition — on a screen they walk past or tap into during a break.

Multi-site organisations

One screen per site keeps each location’s culture visible locally, while the underlying recognition feed connects everyone to organisation-wide activity. Local pride, organisational connection.

Reception & customer-facing spaces

The display board doubles as a culture signal for visitors. Recognition activity in the reception area tells customers, partners and candidates something true about how your organisation treats its people.

Office break rooms & shared hubs

For desk-based teams, the Kiosk turns kitchen and breakout spaces into ambient culture moments — recognition you notice while you make a coffee, not another email to click through.

Beyond the static employee-of-the-month poster

Static recognition wall

  • One name per month, printed and pinned to a wall
  • Out of date within days, embarrassing within weeks
  • One winner — everyone else is invisible
  • Reflects who HR remembered to nominate, not who the team values
  • Disconnected from the rest of your recognition programme
  • Same old faces; effort to refresh isn’t sustained

VALU Kiosk & Display Board

  • Live recognition feed updates continuously from real platform activity
  • Always current — this morning’s thanks, this week’s milestone, today’s shift handover
  • Many moments visible to many people, not one winner
  • Reflects what the team is actually doing, every day
  • Same underlying feed as web, mobile and Microsoft Teams — one source of truth
  • Zero ongoing effort to refresh; it’s automatic

Frequently asked questions

What kind of screens does the Kiosk run on?

Any modern browser-capable screen. That includes wall-mounted smart TVs and digital signage displays, dedicated touchscreen devices on shop floors or in break rooms, and tablets in reception areas. No specialist hardware is required — if the screen can open a browser, it can run VALU Kiosk.

Does Display mode require a login?

Display mode is set up once by an administrator. After that, the screen runs the recognition feed continuously without requiring anyone to sign in or interact — perfect for unattended wall-mounted screens in communal spaces.

Can the same screen be both a display and an interactive kiosk?

Yes. A touchscreen device can show the live recognition feed as ambient signage, then let an employee tap in to sign in, browse activity and send recognition. After a short period of inactivity, the kiosk session automatically logs out and returns to display mode.

How is security handled on shared devices?

Interactive kiosk sessions automatically log out after a period of inactivity, so the next person to walk up to the screen sees the display feed — never the previous user’s account. This keeps shared devices safe while keeping the experience simple for the user.

Can the recognition feed be embedded inside our intranet?

Yes. The Display Board can be embedded into an existing intranet page or portal so the live recognition feed appears alongside other internal content. Useful when culture should sit next to operational news rather than on a separate screen.

Who is this most useful for?

Organisations with frontline, deskless or shift-based workforces — factories, retail, hospitality, healthcare, logistics. Anyone who doesn’t sit at a personal computer or check email all day. The Kiosk brings recognition visibility to workers who would otherwise miss it.
